Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour Fundraiser Happening April 24

ROCHESTER, NH – Tickets are still available for The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour on Wednesday, April 24 at the Rochester Opera House. This fundraiser for Greater Seacoast Community Health was originally scheduled for April 3, but was rescheduled due to a winter storm. Doors open at 6 p.m. and films begin at 7 p.m.

The Paintbrush Film Program will be shown, highlighting outdoor adventure, travel to exotic landscapes and action sports. Film topics include paramotoring over the American Southwest, a mountain climber who is fully blind, epic skiing in Canada’s Arctic Circle, the impact of a proposed dam on an African river known for its tourism industry, and a rock star turned buffalo herder.

Event proceeds assist local individuals and families in accessing quality, affordable primary and preventive health care services through Greater Seacoast’s network of community health centers: Goodwin Community Health in Somersworth and Families First Health & Support Center in Portsmouth.

“We’re honored to host this world class event as a fundraiser to help us further our mission of providing quality health care to everyone — regardless of ability to pay,” said Joann Neumann, Greater Seacoast’s Chief Development Officer. “We’re excited for film festival guests to join in viewing these amazing feats of adventure and outdoor exploration.”

Tickets are $28.50 each and include all ticket fees. Visit or call 603-335-1992 to learn more.

Be moved. Be inspired. Don’t miss out.
