A practicing mental health counselor since 2016, Barbara earned her bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and her master’s degree from Cambridge College. Her interests and experience include women’s issues, trauma and PTSD, anxiety and depression and life transitions. She speaks English and Spanish. “Life is meant to be lived fully, and therapy can be a place where you can find your way back to who you are truly meant to be,” she says. “We each have the answers within us but often we need assistance unearthing, navigating, processing and understanding our true selves.” She works to help her clients explore barriers and challenges that keep them from living their best life, heal past emotional wounds, deal with anxiety and depression, and increase awareness and self-esteem. “Within a safe and confidential setting, you may explore relationships, family dynamics and major life transitions, as well as personal values, hopes, and dreams,” she says.
