Monica is a Family Nurse Practitioner that came to Goodwin in 2016. She earned her Nurse Practitioner degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. She has several years of experience working as a Registered Nurse on a busy medical unit in a Connecticut hospital where she cared for many types of patients including those with arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, pneumonia and COPD. She also has some experience working with pediatric patients in the public school system.
Monica strives to develop a positive, lasting relationship with her patients and values their individual insight when developing a health care plan. She enjoys working with entire families, ranging from infancy up through older adulthood.
In her free time, she loves to read, travel and explore the Seacoast with her husband and two children.
