Before becoming a nurse practitioner in 2023, Sara San Pedro had six years of experience as a registered nurse. Working in diverse health-care environments, both inpatient and outpatient, gave her a well-rounded perspective on patient care. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis and completed clinical rotations in various primary-care settings throughout the Seacoast, including Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Seaside Family Health Care and York Hospital. Her interest in working as a family practitioner at a community health center comes from “genuine interest in aiding patients of all age groups and collaborating with fellow health-care professionals to provide holistic, comprehensive care that addresses the individual as a whole.”
