Terra Wilkins, MD, is from rural British Columbia, where she became interested in family medicine after growing up with the traditional GP (general practitioner) model. During medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, she participated in the Keith B. Taylor Global Scholars Program, which took her to the United Kingdom, India, Grenada and New York City. After graduating in 2017, she completed a residency in family medicine at Central Maine Medical Center, including special training in rural medicine and sports medicine. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She sees patients of all ages at both Families First and Goodwin Community Health, providing both primary care and prenatal care.
